The Budukh (Budugh) are a small ethnic group living in several settlements of Kuba and Khachmassk (districts of Azerbaijan).
The Budukhic language belongs to the Lezgin subgroup of the Caucasian (Daghestan) languages. The written language and literature are based upon the Azerbaijanian language.
The main occupations of the Budukh are agriculture and cattle-breeding.
Budukh believers are Islam-Sunnites.
In their everyday life, the Budukh gradually assimilate with the Azerbaijans.
